Thank you for your interest in mentoring the next generation of urban planners and designers at our Virtual Office Hours. Selected mentors will be contacted to confirm which sessions they’ll attend.
Who we're looking for: We welcome applications from professionals across planning, urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, community development, policy, and adjacent fields. Whether you're early in your career or a seasoned practitioner, your perspective is valuable to our students.
What to expect: At our Virtual Office Hours, you'll mentor individual teams in breakout rooms, diving deeper into their design thinking and providing tailored guidance. Mentors should review the Competition Brief and Judging Rubric beforehand, and sign on at 7:00 PM for a short AV check and briefing before students join at 7:30.
Compensation: Selected mentors receive a $50 honorarium per Virtual Office Hours session (3 sessions maximum), issued after completing a short post-session feedback survey.
